Key to Learning is a unique Early Years educational programme for the development of cognitive learning abilities. It is acclaimed as a comprehensive practical approach to bringing the concepts of Vygotsky’s theory of learning and development to the Early Years classroom.

Vygotsky believed that true education is not the mere learning of specific knowledge and skills, it is the development of children’s learning abilities – that is, their capacity to think clearly and creatively, plan and implement their plans, and communicate their understanding in a variety of ways. He believed this could be done by providing them with a set of cultural tools for thinking and creating.

Key to Learning method has its own CURRICULUM MODULES. Some modules like Story Grammar, Mathematics, Logic, Construction or Finger Gym you have seen while Teacher`s training in Zabrze (November 2015).

STORY GRAMMAR MODULE

As it is stated on Key to Learning website – “The Story Grammar programme follows a specific set of procedures (Visual-Spatial Modelling) for helping young children develop a love of story, ownership of story language and a profound understanding of story structure”.
