New names for Erasmus Cats

“The Green Cat” was the beginning.

From this name children in four countries tried to create new names for cats.
You can read them all in a common collection HERE.

With a pleasure we announce new names from Green Cat for Erasmus Cats!

You can use any of them when looking for the name for your kitten in a future!

New names from cat`s letters

Ladybirds were working with THE GREEN CAT letters to create new names for cats.

Children were discussing some possibilities in groups. Ladybirds were flying here and there to collect all  letters they need for creating new words, looking as names.

Ladybirds demonstrate different competences on reading skills, that is why some names are just lines of letters, but others look like real names.

This task was demanding but funny with such a nice letters as we received from Spain.

The names of cats

We were looking at pictures of our cats at home and discussing their names and what they look like. The names of our cats were f.ex. Pési, Snúlla and Ýmir. We thought Ýmir to be a strange name since we know a boy named Ýmir. We were wondering if there could be a cat named Freyja, Hugrún or Jóna in your countries. Or even a cat named Pési like here in Iceland? What are the names of cats in your countries?

We would also like to know what cats look like, their colors, in your countries?

Here you can add a picture and/or the name of your cats.
